ESCAPE ROOM FAQ
Q: What is an escape room?
A: Escape rooms are an immersive, live, action-adventure game in which the goal is to escape a "locked" room by solving the mystery using your wits, team, and clues hidden throughout the room. They are designed to challenge your brain and encourage team communication. They are not physically demanding or scary, making it an activity for all ages.
Q: Are they scary or gory?
A: Nope, although some thematic elements may be challenging for a younger audience!
Q. Am I really going to be "locked" in a room?
A. No - the door will not be locked but is considered an emergency (or bathroom) exit only. If you leave the room before you solve the room, your time will continue with out you.
Q. How many people are able to be in each room?
A. It depends on the room. Our rooms each have different amounts of space, so be sure to check carefully! Most rooms are great for 2-6, with some of them being large enough to accommodate up to 14!
Q. What if I have sensory issues?
A. We try to be as inclusive as possible! That doesn't mean a guarantee that it's perfect, but we try to accommodate as much as we are able. Just reach out to us and let us know what your sensory issue is and we will let you know what we can do to make it a great experience for you!
Q. Will my escape room session be with strangers?
A. No, all of our bookings are private, and will only include you and your group.
Q. What exactly do we need to do to escape the room?
A. Your team and your smarts! All the clues you need are within the room so you and your team must rely on each to find the clues and solve the riddles and puzzles.
Q. Do I have to be 18 to play?
A. We require a waiver to play. All minors must be signed for by a parent or guardian. Players 15 and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult while in the room.
Q. How long does each game last?
A. 60 Minutes
Q. Are all ages welcome to play?
A. ABSOLUTELY! This adventure is enjoyable, regardless of age. Kids love it, grown ups love it, and everyone in between!
