ESCAPE ROOM FAQ
Q: What is an escape room?
A: Escape rooms are an immersive, live-action adventure game in which the goal is to escape a "locked" room by solving the mystery using your wits, team, and clues hidden throughout the room. They are designed to challenge your brain and encourage team communication, and are not physically demanding or scary, making it an activity for all ages.
Q: Are they scary or gory?
A: No! At least ours aren't. Our rooms are large and the themes are not threatening or frightening. Some escape rooms (again, not any of ours) can have elements of horror so it's always best to ask if you have reservations.
Q. Am I really going to be "locked" in a room?
A. No. The door will not be locked, but is considered an emergency exit only. If you leave the room before you solve the room you have exited gameplay and cannot re-enter.
Q. How many people are locked in each room?
A. It depends on the room. Minimum of four players is requested for each room but they can also have a max of ten-twelve people. Our rooms are fairly large so you'll have plenty of space to move.
Q. Can I book my group ahead of time?
A. Yes. We allow bookings 6 months in advance at any time. Visit our online booking options.
Q. Can I purchase just one ticket?
A. Yes. You can join a current booking if you see there are openings or we will pair you with other people to fill a room of four minimum.
Q. Will my escape room session be with strangers?
A. No, currently all of our bookings are private, and will only include you and your group.
Q. What exactly do we need to do to escape the room?
A. Your team and your smarts! All the clues you need are within the room so you and your team must rely on each to find the clues and solve the riddles and puzzles.
Q. What are your prices and age ranges?
A. For Friday and Saturday open bookings-meaning others can join your group-, the price for 8-15 year olds would be $20, 16 years and older are $25. For private bookings, 8-15 are $20, 16 and up are $30.
Q. Do I have to be 18 to play?
A. We require a waiver to play. All minors must be signed for by a parent or guardian. Players 13 and younger must be accompanied by an adult while in the room.
Q. How long does each game last?
A. 60 Minutes
